About Nativ Lodge & Spa

More than a hotel, Nativ Lodge & Spa is a real living space in interaction with natural and authentic Mauritius. Unique in the southeast of the island in Mahébourg, where the call is first of all for calm and serenity.
A tropical garden perfectly integrated into a setting of wild nature on the banks of the La Chaux river. In this Mahébourgeois lodge, nature is lush. Connected to the village, we will make you live highlights of the life of the inhabitants. Among other things, the guided tour of the Mahebourg market by our cook has surprises in store for you. For the more adventurous, our fisherman will accompany you on a traditional fishing trip. I won't tell you more!
After long days discovering the wild south, its typical landscapes, and its many activities, it's time to relax. Treat yourself to treatments in our spa before enjoying a moment of well-deserved rest in the deckchairs and canopy beds arranged in the shade of the mangroves along the river.

Bar & Restaurant

With a capacity of 70 seats, the bar & restaurant is a space of 100 square meters entirely open to the La Chaux river and the garden. It allows you to enjoy the local cuisine in peace and the heart of nature. Our chief cook offers a mixed cuisine based on fresh local products. Fruits and vegetables from the garden and the market as well as the daily catch of the inhabitants of the region make up the dishes.
The bar & restaurant at Nativ Lodge & Spa is a cultural center in Mahébourg. It is open to residents. The evenings are lively, the atmosphere is festive and family-friendly, and the menus concocted exclusively with fresh products are real culinary journeys.

Conditions

As from 01st October 2021, Covid-19 protocols applicable for Mauritian Citizens or Holder of local Residents' Permit (subject to change as per the Tourism Authority):
Vaccination card and ID card are compulsory, and must be presented at reception counter upon arrival
All non-vaccinated guests against Covid-19 will not be allowed access to hotels
Children under 18 years old are currently exempted from vaccination at this time. They will be allowed to stay in the same hotel if accompanied by their parents or a relative (adult) who is fully vaccinated
ALL locals should be fully vaccinated at least 30 days prior the event - with 2 doses of a Covid-19 vaccine recognised by the Mauritian authorities
The validated vaccines are: AstraZeneca Covishield, AstraZeneca Vaxzeria, Covaxin, Johnson&Johnson (1 dose), Moderna, Pfizer, Sinopharm, Sinovac-CoronaVac, Sputnik V
If guests do not have the 2 doses or if the PCR test done is positive, the concerned authority will not take overall current bookings
All Customers having any food allergens & dietary restrictions should communicate to the hotel 48hrs prior to arrival
Only food and drinks purchased in the restaurant can be consumed. No food or drinks from outside are permitted inside the restaurant without the approval of the management
Age Requirement: Note that upon reservation, if customers fail to declare their child or book for the wrong age group, a supplement will be required on arrival
Covid-19 Lockdown Protocol: If a booking falls within a Lockdown period/Government restriction, it will automatically be cancelled & refunded as a store credit in your MariDeal account only
